In only a few days LeBron James is set to become a free agent for the second time in his career. It seems like a foregone conclusion that he’s going to leave Cleveland. James looked broken and disheartened in the NBA finals and was swept by the Golden State Warriors. LaVar Ball says that he has no doubt where LeBron is going to sign.

LaVar Ball says Lakers

LaVar Ball loves to run his mouth. He’s never been afraid to jump on TV or talk to the media and voice his opinion like its fact. It’s even caused problems with his oldest son’s, Lonzo Ball, team the Los Angeles Lakers.

LaVar has even been credited for talking things into existent like hyping Lonzo up so much that he got drafted by the Lakers. Now He’s attempting to talk LeBron James to the Lakers. Ball went on FS1’s “Undisputed” and was asked about LeBron to the Lakers.

Ball said, “I don’t think it’s going to happen. I know it’s going to happen.”

LaVar went on to say that Lonzo is one of the reasons James should come to LA. Lonzo went through a rough rookie season, only showing a few moments of promise. However, LaVar is convinced that his son makes everyone better.

No one will know if LaVar can make it happen until LeBron decides. For now, LaVar is focused on getting his other two sons drafted, neither of which have much of a chance in the NBA.

The Lakers make sense for James

LaVar has said some crazy things in the past, but LeBron going to the Lakers isn’t one of them. The team is young, have the cap space to sign James, and is the big market LeBron may want to play in. Shortly after the finals, it was being reported that LeBron only played on talking with seven teams over the summer, including the Lakers.

LeBron already took one of those teams off the list, the Houston Rockets. James said that he didn’t like Houston as a city. James’s high-school son just enrolled in a basketball powerhouse in the LA area.
