The wait is over, Floyd “Money” Mayweather Jr. and “The Notorious One” Conor McGregor will square off in a boxing ring this Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mayweather retired in 2015 with an unbeaten (49-0) record, while Mcgregor is the reigning UFC Lightweight Champion, sporting a (21-3) record in the Octagon. It will be the first time a UFC Champion will cross over into the boxing world. No kicking nor grappling for Mcgregor, just classic stand-up boxing. For that reason, Mayweather enters the fight as the HEAVY favorite. “Money” currently sits at (-400) odds according to Bovada, meaning you would have to bet $400 on Mayweather to win $100. As for Mcgregor, his odds sit at (+300), meaning a $100 bet would win win $300 if Mcgregor can pull off the upset. Those lines have shifted since the fight was announced. Mayweather opened as a (-2250) favorite, while Mcgregor was a (+950) underdog. To watch the fight between arguably one of the best boxers of all time and someone who has never boxed professionally, you’ll need to lay out some cash. The Showtime PPV will be $89.95 for standard definition, $99.95 for high definition. The Main Card is set to start at 9:00 PM ET.
