If I get more than 50 percent of my picks wrong this week I am retiring. I felt pretty sure about my picks last week, but I pushed one and lost the other three. At this point I imagine you are just picking the opposite of what I do, which is probably a good idea at this rate.
These are my picks for this week, in case you want to take the opposite:
Iowa -1.5 @ Northwestern
Michigan State -6.5 vs. Indiana
USC +4 @ Notre Dame
I reiterate: I will retire if I don’t go at least two for three.
Fantasy pickups:
3: WR Robert Woods, LAR – Woods brought in five of his seven targets for 70 yards against a tough Jacksonville defense. QB Jared Goff likes him, and he’s been having a quietly solid season.
2: RB Orleans Darkwa, NYG – Darkwa picked up 117 yards on the ground last weekend, the first back to top 100 against Denver this season. He is looking more and more like the Giants go-to back, and let’s face it, the Giants don’t have many other options.
1: QB Brett Hundley, GB – With Aaron Rodgers possibly done for the year, Hundley will be taking over the reigns of a very solid offense. Yes, he threw three picks this weekend, but it was also the first time he’s ever played more than ten snaps in his NFL career. Expect him to improve over the course of the next couple weeks.
