From the Access Hollywood tape to the latest s—hole remark, Donald Trump has made the world frown with his poor choice of words that are extremely uncharacteristic for a President, let alone for the Leader of the Free World!

On January 12, Donald Trump made headlines in the Washington Post by referring to Haiti, El Salvador, and African countries as “s—hole”.

Discussing the future of the people migrating from those countries with members of Congress, Donald Trump reportedly asked, “Why are we having all these people from s—hole countries come from?” Trump then suggested bringing in more people from countries like Norway.

It is obvious that Trump singled out the people from Haiti, El Salvador, and African countries to make vicious comments against them. He did not suggest that he had an issue with those countries’ governments.

When you make a comment as irresponsible as that, you make it clear that you consider the people from the countries (predominately black) so unworthy that the US should not admit them as immigrants.

Trump picked Norway as his choice for accepting immigrants from. With this point of comparison, he clearly chose countries based on skin color.

Such disparaging comments show not only his prejudice and racism but also his flouting of the Federal Law. Under Federal Law, it is illegal to marginalize workers and tenants based on their countries of origin.

As usual, Trump supporters and Conservatives are quick to downplay, even legitimize his scathing remark. Conservative Pundits, such as Fox News contributor, and Fox News host Tucker Carlson, are defending Trump’s s—hole comment.

Many of Trump’s supporters are actually denying that Trump made such a comment.

Speaking to the reporters, Sen. Dick Durbin said that making such comments is so characteristic of Trump. He confirmed that he did make the s—hole comment, and Trump previously “said things that are hate-filled, vile, and racist.”

The s—hole remark came in amid outrage over his inability to hold Presidency. As far as the fine line between sanity and insanity goes, Trump continues to break the line. It may be just a matter of time when he will be accountable for his remarks.
