I am on a fitness binge at the moment and am not sure how long the streak would last. As usual, I was paying more attention to what I ate. However, the realization struck that everyone seems to be paranoid about foods but rarely pay attention to what they drink. I decided to compile a list of drinks that are a part of a healthy lifestyle. So, here’s to drinking to good health.

Let me be clear, by good health I don’t mean that these drinks will help you lose weight or tone up your body. For that exercise is a must. These dinks will help your metabolism, increase immunity and make you feel more energetic.

On top of the shack is obviously water. The recommended amount is 8 to 10 glasses a day. However, if you sweat a lot, you need to increase the intake accordingly. Water is the best because it prevents dehydration and constipation. At the same time, its calorie content is zero. So, what better can you ask for?

  • Green Tea / Coffee

Green tea and green coffee are both extremely rich in anti-oxidants. These anti-oxidants, in turn, boost your body’s immunity and also keep the internal body environment in harmony.
