Has Vietnam been on your bucket list for a while now but you’re not sure where to visit first? I’ve put together a list of the top 3 must-see places going from my own personal experience.

I have to start with Hanoi. Hanoi is a wonderful place with so much going on. You will see first hand just how difficult it can be to cross the road! There are different museums to see and gorgeous lakes right in the city center. You can also take a day trip to the famous HaLong Bay from Hanoi which doesn’t cost too much. Hanoi hosts an amazing weekend night market where you can buy pretty much anything. It’s so busy and vibrant and the people are super friendly.

Following from Hanoi my second favourite place in Vietnam that I would recommend is Mui Ne. Mui Ne is a fantastic little place known throughout the World for its kitesurfing community. Every year it holds kitesurfing competitions that draw in crowds from every corner of the World. Besides this, Mui Ne is such a chilled out location with everything that you could need. It has the most fantastic outdoor food court that caters to all tastes. There are a number of tourist attractions in Mui Ne including the Red and White Sand Dunes and the Fairy Stream. This is really a place you could spend an entire week in.

Nha Trang is third on my list because it’s just mind-blowing. There is so much going on in Nha Trang from its golden sandy beach to the shopping malls and amazing restaurants. It’s also home to Vinpearl which you can access by taking a fantastic cable car ride over the sea. The cable car ride itself is simply breathtaking but the fun doesn’t stop there. On the other side, Vinpearl Land awaits. It’s like Vietnams answer to Disney World. It has a waterpark, theme park, a zoo and different family-friendly shows throughout the day.

That concludes my list. Trust me, Vietnam has so much to offer its definitely worth a visit, you won’t be disappointed.
